About
I make pottery from my studio in the old stables at my home in Petersham, south-west London.
Working mainly in stoneware, I make small batches of thrown pots alongside larger, one-off hand-built and coiled vessels. I like simple, strong forms, tactile surfaces and the small irregularities that show the hand of the maker.
My pottery has a quiet, restrained palette, with decoration coming through glaze, texture and mark-making. Each piece is made individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
I have been making pottery for many years and my work is also stocked at Petersham Nurseries and New Ashgate Gallery.
You can follow new work, pieces in progress and life in the studio on Instagram.
